有一次，我和伙伴们到我爷爷那边去玩，走到一个湖边，闻到一股臭气迎面扑来，忽然小莹脚一滑，滑到垃圾里面去了，等她脚抽出来，那脚又脏又臭，她急得哭了起来。还真巧，正好有个阿姨扛着几个袋子往这边走来，走近一看，原来是一些发臭的垃圾，那个人走到湖边，就把那些臭垃圾倒入湖边。那条湖似乎在哭着说：“不要再在我肚子里填垃圾了。”那个人走后，远远的还捂着鼻子，原来她自己也觉臭。照这样算，世界上每分钟就有80万吨废物和垃圾排入江河，每年排入至少4400多亿吨。

到了爷爷家，看见前面的树林正有人在伐木，我和几个伙伴走了过去。站了一会儿，我看见那些树木都流出了眼泪，好像在说：“人类离不开我们，你们这样做，会得到自己播种的恶果。”没过一会儿，那一片山林就被砍完了。以这样的速度，可以想出世界上大概每分钟有20平方米左右的森林在消失，一年约有10平方千米左右的森林被毁灭。我回家静想：“如果这样的举动还维持下去的话，那么等待我们的将是一场恶战，地球生态环境也会遭到严重的打击，那么地球母亲就会消失的。也许有人会想，等地球资源竭尽时，可以到别的星球去，但这样是根本不可能的。人类只有一个地球，只有一个地球可以依赖。”

要怎样才能维持这个越发苍老的地球呢？人类类生存离不开周围环境，人类都希望生存在一个绿草如苗、鸟语花香的新鲜的空气之中。可我们现实生活中，汽车尾气、白色垃圾、有害废水、刺耳的噪音等环境，污染问题，已严重地影响着我们的'生活，学习和工作甚至危及到人类正常生存。

到达石竹村，队长林子博妈妈把我们几个孩子聚拢围成一圈开起会来。她说：“今天我们上山的任务是用手中的夹子捡山上被乱丢弃的垃圾，谁捡到最多的垃圾就有糖吃。”当我们听到捡到最多垃圾的人——“有糖吃”三字时，我们立马两眼放光，恨不得满山的垃圾马上都跑进自己的垃圾袋里。

开完会，我们一边游山玩水，一边时不时地捡起一样垃圾放进垃圾袋。山上的垃圾可真不少呀！我们一路上捡了被压扁了的矿泉水瓶、沾满杂草和泥巴的饮料瓶、随处可见的塑料袋、臭气熏天的易拉罐……

走着走着，我发现了路边的一个垃圾桶，里面装成快满出来的、各式各样的瓶瓶罐罐垃圾。我满心欢喜地对好朋友林子博使了使颜色，他便对我说：“咱们去垃圾箱里捡吧，反正现在没人，他们也发现不了。”我举双手赞成。

很巧的是，我妈妈来了，她看到我们这样子，马上制止道：“已经在垃圾桶的.垃圾，我们就不要再捡出来了，我们要捡被随意掉地上的垃圾。”

捡完垃圾，我们提着满袋的垃圾去变卖，分到5元钱。

啊！翻越了一天好几座山头，辛苦一天才能赚到5元钱，让我体验到赚钱生活的不容易。可回头看看此时山清水秀、干干净净的大罗山，我心中别有一番滋味。

看着同学们这么卖力，我也不甘示弱，使出全身的力气在瓷砖上擦着，看着一块块脏兮兮的瓷砖变得白白净净的，我的心里像喝了蜜一样甜滋滋的。这时，一道长长的，弯弯曲曲的.蜡笔笔迹出现在我的眼前，我深吸一口气，决心要把它消灭掉，我双手紧抓抹布，用两个大拇指在上面使劲儿地擦，但是只擦掉了一点点，看着这条长长的“脏东西”，我心想：擦不掉你，我就用刷子刷掉你，我们两个只能存活一个，哼。于是，我找了刷子，在蜡笔线上轻轻一刮，那道顽皮的蜡笔线顿时跑得无影无踪了，跟我斗，被我消灭了吧。我看着白白的瓷砖以及消灭掉的蜡笔线，心里面的自豪感油然而生。

快乐的时光总是短暂的，刚刚兴奋不已的同学都变成了一个个汗流满面，累到提不起来精神的小孩子一样，但是又看着那白洁的墙壁，一个个心里又都充满了成就感，我们也明白了美化环境不仅要靠环卫工人，还要靠我们，让我们都来做环保小卫士。
