随着新区开发建设的快速推进，对内对外交流交往日趋频繁，人流客流不断集聚，百姓对公共交通日益迫切。区委、区政府历来重视公交服务百姓出行和公交服务工业区的问题，特别是重点工业企业的员工出行。特别是，在市交通主管部门（加：火炬管委会支持下）和区委、区政府的`力促下，友达至会展中心公交路线的实现开通和部分出租车的顺利投放，必将进一步完善工业区交通配套，为园区企业员工和老百姓出行提供便利，助推新区工业化、城市化进程，必将为火炬社区发展和新区经济、社会全面进步发挥极为重要的作用。
